Replacing my Brake pads and crossed-drilled slotted Rotors
Our dance classes are fun, and the extra activities and celebrations we present throughout the season take the fun up a notch!
Sometimes I think parents get confused when we say that our focus is on having fun AND building the foundation of correct dance technique.
When we sign our children up for an activity, we just want to see them happy, smiling, and excited to go back week after week.
Sometimes it may take a few weeks for a child to adjust to a new environment, people, or activity and this is perfectly normal.
At CSD we are fortunate to have expert dance educators that teach fun and creative dance classes, AND correct dance technique all at the same time.
This means that as your child progresses each year, they truly are mastering the art and skills of a talented dancer while having fun, and not just mimicking what they see on youtube.
Some of the ways we bring fun into the studio are the special touches and magical experiences we create for our students as part of their classes, program and curriculum, seen prominently in our Prima Star Dance program.
Our course, the themed studio spirit weeks I talked about in my last blog post also contribute to the fun factor around here.

It is about learning basic rhythm skills by clicking sticks together, or banging the drums to the beat.
It was frustrating, because I wanted him to follow along with the teacher and do everything she did.
I encourage you to persist beyond this.
About 4 weeks in, my son started singing the songs and doing the actions at home.
And not long after that he started participating in the class a little bit here and there.
By the end of the 8 week session he was singing along, doing the actions, following instructions and I was so happy that I stuck with it.
Now as a teacher of Tots, I see it all the time.
Celebrating your Tots small achievements at this age is so special and article source />Especially when you can share these milestones with a class of other parents, grandparents and children who you have gotten to know along the way.
